Z is a wonderful little dog.  He weighs only 11 pounds!  He is smaller than Bella by 4 lbs. but everyone thinks he is bigger, he is just all hair!  I have had many dogs in my life but I will have to say he has the sweetest and most loving personality of any dog I have even met.  He is so devoted to me and the rest of my family, yet he also loves everyone he meets.  He is my constant companion.  Z gets jealous if the other two (my girls) are being loved on.  He thinks I belong only to him and will climb or jump on and over them if he feels like they are infringing on his QT with me.  Of course the other two dogs get equal time with me, he will just pout about it.  Luckily, he gets over it very quickly because he would much rather be loved on.  When we have nap time with my four year old, Ian, he will just rub his head on me and love on me and Ian.  Sometimes if he gets damp and can't nap with us, he howls until I tell him firmly to "Go to sleep".  Z's favorite activity by far is being cuddled, his second is wrestling with Bella and Zoe. He just loves pleasing us and just being with us!  Zoe and Z have a very special relationship, it is kind of hard to describe.  They love each other for sure but it is almost like he has tremendous respect for Zoe.  He is Bella's companion and makes it obvious that he is the only dog for her and vice versa.  He delights in giving her kisses.  It is all so very sweet.  We all feel so very blessed to have him in our lives.

 Deciding between a Male and a Female

My aunt told me once that the difference between male dogs and female dogs is that Female dogs love you but Male dogs were IN LOVE with you.  That is exactly how I would describe Z's relationship with me and the rest of our family.  He is simply IN LOVE with us!
