Come back and visit us to see our changes!
Bella is a playful, sweet, and independent little thing. She is such a little princess, except when she eats and she is more like a little hog! Bella loves to eat! She is at a healthy weight for her size because she is so playful. Bella is the bigger of our Cotons, she weighs in at 15 lbs. She follows me around much of the time but she also LOVES her alone time. Her favorite spot to be alone is under the chaise in my bedroom. And sometimes she likes the best of both worlds and will sit several feet away from me on our sectional and come over periodically to be loved on. Then there are the times she wants to lay right on top of me, much to Z's dismay! He has some problems sharing. She is so affectionate and loves to please me and the other family members. She has a little stubborn streak but she has been easily trainable. Her favorite activity is wrestling with Z and even Zoe. She is so much fun to play with and even just to watch play. She has a cute little swagger bounce when she walks that shows her girly personality. Although, if you saw her wrestling you would think her anything but girly! She is so adorable but with a little attitude that make her FUN! She has so much spunk and is not afraid of anything, making us have to be extra careful with her. She loves to take naps with her little boy, Ian but she likes to sleep at the bottom of the bed after an affectionate kiss on the cheek and a reciprocal scratch behind the ears. Sometimes before naptime she tries to play with Z and they start wrestling and I have to firmly tell them to lie down so Ian can go to sleep! It is really too cute! These little dogs are hard to scold, they are just so Precious! What a huge blessing to our family!
My aunt told me once that the difference between male dogs and female dogs is that Female dogs LOVE you but Male dogs were IN LOVE with you. That is how our relationships are with our dogs. That is taking nothing away from my females! I LOVE all of my dogs. And some people may prefer the way females are devoted to you but also are a little more independent. Both of my female dogs love to be loved on but Z craves this attention all of the time. He does lie down by himself but he would much prefer to be with me being cuddled. I love both of them for their differences. Sometimes Z can be a little annoying when I am typing and he insists that he need to be cuddled, NOW! I just laugh and try to shrug off the guilt as I scoot him over so that his nose is not lying on the A,S, Q, & W (or pass him off to one of the other family members). Bella is content to be near me when I am working but not right against me, happy as can be with occasional pats. Then sometimes when I want to love on Bella she will let me pick her up and love on her then prances her cute little tail across the room and looks at me in that princess way she has. That is when Z stops pouting and takes up where Bella has left off. Zoe, my medium to large mixed breed, is much more independent than Bella. She loves me from afar much of the time but still loves to be loved on, just not all of the time. All of the dogs LOVE ALL of our family and ALL of the dogs are extremely devoted to us. They are a part of our family and they know it!
