WE HAVE PUPPIES!!!
**Welcome to our site!
We have the honor of being located in beautiful south central Kentucky. We are very excited to breed the rare and wonderful Malagasy Coton de Tulear (pronounced "coe-TAWN day TULE-ee-r").
This is truly the world's greatest dog! Please take a few minutes and get to know our family which includes the two gorgeous Cotons that are the heart of our breeding program.
Cotons On The Cumberland is a CTCA Code of Ethics breeder. We are NOT affiliated with the AKC or the European Cotons. Our cotons are direct descendents from the Cotons brought over from Madagascar by Dr. Jay Russell in 1974. The CTCA is the only club that has strict regulations against inbreeding. Our Male, Z, was originally from Fairview, OR. He was born on October 13, 2008. His first family, breeder Debbie Newman, still keeps very close tabs on him as he was from their first litter and loved very much. We feel very blessed to have had such a great experience with Columbia Gorge Cotons! To visit their website go to www.columbiagorgecotons.com.
Z is a Black and White Coton and has a personality to match his cute and cuddly appearance. He is the ultimate companion dog, staying close by his human family almost all of the time. He does take time out to play with Bella and our other dog Zoe. Z also has a new friend he LOVES to play with especially since Bella is expecting:
Bullet, a gorgeous gray kitten is the newest addition to our family. Cotons are famous for their ability to get along with all animals. Bullet is absolute proof of that as he attacks Z randomly all day!

Our Female, Bella, came to us from Beaumont, TX. She was born on May 26, 2008. Her breeder has retired but has been available anytime I have needed her. Bella was my first Coton and Cheri from Mon Cheri Cotons made the whole process easy and very pleasurable. Bella had a distinctive heart shape on her side at birth and it is still visible to this day, although hard to see when her hair is longer. Bella is a gorgeous tri-color Coton that has retained a lot of her color even at almost two years of age (we love her color!). Bella is independent but incredibly cuddly and loving. She is very playful and loves to play with children, especially her own boys, Zane and Ian. She also has a special affinity for our new kitten, Bullet. She is very motherly toward him.
